The O.R. Light

Ryerson dragged this old operating room light home from a flea market in maybe '67. He really liked the Fresnel lens in the middle, six round glass elements just like a lighthouse lens. The light focuses to a spot the size of a dinner plate after reflection off the mirror segments all around the rim, which is how I'm lit up in this photo. The light has been a fixture in every house I've lived in. Its up there on the ceiling today.
